Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a home for Scientology religious services and community programmes. The anniversary included a religious service, live music, a photographic and video news eu taxonomy retrospective and plans for the next decade.
During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
